Plan the light around the space.
The effect begins with a genuinely translucent slab. We review a sample with light, then plan diffusion, support, control, and maintenance access. A digital preview is inspiration; the actual stone determines the finished character.
Review the real slab with light.
Translucency varies between materials and from one slab to another. A physical sample review helps reveal light transmission, natural veining, reinforcement, and color before the design is confirmed. An inspiration rendering cannot establish whether a particular slab will work.
Design the complete assembly.
Stone thickness, support, diffusion, the distance to the light source, and viewing angles all influence the result. We review the assembly alongside the cabinet, wall, or bar construction, with practical access to drivers and other service points.
Keep control and maintenance in the plan.
Dimming, color appearance, electrical connections, and required licensed-trade coordination are established for the project. Share drawings, photographs, and any slab references so the consultation can address the actual conditions and responsibilities.
