Clear light for a worktop. A softer setting for the evening. Plan the lighting around the room, its finishes and the way you use it.
A local project conversation
Scintillax brings a Miami-area workshop and local crew to the lighting conversation. Share the space and the effect you want to create, whether it is a clearer kitchen worktop, illuminated shelving or an architectural detail. We review the actual installation conditions before defining the scope.
Task light should reach the counter without creating uncomfortable reflections in the stone or backsplash. We review cabinet depth, the intended working area and normal viewing positions before selecting a mounting approach. Inside a display cabinet or along an open shelf, the emphasis may be different. Separate control groups can give practical task light and a softer evening layer their own roles.
When cabinetry is still being designed, lighting channels and cable routes can become part of the fabrication drawing. We can plan precut insertion channels for the selected profile. In an existing kitchen, photographs of the cabinet underside, available mounting space and current controls help us assess the options. Concealment, access and the condition of the existing installation determine what is practical.
A ceiling cove, illuminated niche, stair detail or wall wash can change the room after dark. Start with the surface you want to reveal and the view from the places people sit or walk. We consider brightness, color appearance, glare and dimming beside the actual finishes. Fixture choice follows the intended effect and mounting conditions rather than a photograph alone.
A backlit bar, countertop or feature wall begins with a physical test of the selected slab. Light transmission varies, even within a material family. Diffusion, support, the surrounding cabinet or wall and access to the lighting system need to be considered together. We review the actual stone and construction conditions before confirming an illuminated-stone proposal.
Tell us what is already in place, which controls you hope to retain and whether finishes are open or complete. Product compatibility, mounting, cable paths and accessible drivers are reviewed before work is scheduled. Electrical connections and any required licensed-trade coordination are defined for the actual project. For Miami condominium work, include building access and work-hour requirements in the initial brief.
We welcome inquiries from Miami, Doral, Hialeah, Miami Beach and communities across Miami-Dade. Share your ZIP code, the proposed work and any access requirements so we can review the project.

Start with cabinet and shelf lighting, architectural accents, linear interior details or backlit stone. You can also share a garden or pathway project. The team reviews the application, mounting conditions and required responsibilities before confirming the installation scope.
We assess existing cabinetry before recommending a solution. Photographs of the underside, current wiring or fixtures, countertop and nearby outlets help explain the space. The proposal follows a review of concealment, access, compatibility and required electrical work.
Compatibility must be checked against the selected LEDs, drivers and controls. Send fixture and dimmer labels with photographs. We establish what can be retained before confirming the final system.
Run length, fixture or profile selection, controls, mounting, access and any enabling electrical work affect the quote. A new cabinet installation and a retrofit can need different preparation. Pricing follows the agreed project scope.
